Of Course…It`s a Corset! – Learn how to cover an hour glass faux shaped cake. Decorating of this
corset will involve ruffling, shaping, molding, applying sugar lace,
accenting with edible metallic paints. Carving of a real cake will be
demonstrated. Students will also work with edible sugar lace.

Duration: Foue, 3 hour classes.

Tools Required: X-acto knife, non-stick 9” rolling pin, non-stick board, ruffling stick, 6” or 12” ruler, piping bag with tip #3, decorating brushes, fondant smoother, ribbon cutter, paring knife, dish towel, dress makers tape and pencil.

Prerequisite: McCall’s Introduction and Intermediate Cake Decorating or a working knowledge of rolled fondant.
