PROFESSIONAL CAKE DECORATING I – Students will learn the fundamentals of cake decorating and icings. This course covers piping skills, borders, sprays, writing, flowers, color flow and covering cakes with rolled fondant and butter cream. Students will create a special occasion cake using modeling paste to make ribbons, bows & ruffles. Complete your 10” special occasion cake with butter cream. Students receive a certificate of completion.
In all McCall’s PROFESSIONAL COURSES, the student will be shown practical and speedy techniques needed to meet the demands of a small restaurant, resort, caterer, bakery, chocolate and or cake shop. Our classes are designed to benefit the beginner as well as the professional.
